Golden, IL— Adams Telephone Co-Operative is excited to announce the recipients of its 2025 Scholarship Program, recognizing two exceptional high school seniors for their academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to community values.


This year, Griffin Tippey of Southeastern High School and Adalena Pedro of Unity High School have each been awarded a $1,000 college scholarship for their outstanding contributions both in and out of the classroom. These scholarships reflect the cooperative’s enduring commitment to supporting the leaders of tomorrow and investing in rural communities.
Bridgette Northern, Director of Marketing, shared her enthusiasm for this year’s recipients, stating, “These scholarships reaffirm our deep dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders. Griffin and Adalena have exemplified the principles that strengthen our communities. It’s an honor to play a part in their journeys, and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make in the future.”
Adams Telephone Co-Operative has proudly awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors, contributing to the educational dreams of those in rural areas. Through a partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), Adams offers scholarships in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
Information about the 2026 Scholarship Program will be released later this fall. Eligible students are encouraged to apply and join a network of scholars dedicated to shaping the future of rural America.
