$3,000 FRS Scholarship opportunity from Adams Telephone Co-Operative

Adams Telephone Co-Operative is pleased to partner with the Foundation for Rural Services (FRS) to offer our cooperative members children the opportunity to apply for a $3,000 scholarship, with FRS funding $2,000 of the scholarship and Adams supplying the remaining $1,000.

Qualified applicants will also automatically be entered to win one of two $1,000 Adams scholarships in the event we do not have a national FRS Scholarship winner from our area.

These scholarships are available to students for the student’s first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require sponsorship by an NTCA – the Rural Broadband Association company (Adams Telephone Co-Operative) to be eligible and must meet the following eligibility requirements.

  • Must be a graduating high school senior
  • Have at least a C grade point average
  • Be accepted to an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or vocational-technical school
  • Must live in a household in one of the following exchanges with telephone service provided by
    Adams Telephone Co-Operative.
    These exchanges are Augusta (392), Chambersburg (327), Coatsburg/Paloma (455), Fishhook (338), Golden/LaPrairie (696), Hersman (289), Lima (985), Loraine (938), Mendon (936), Meyer (647), Mindale (667), Plymouth (458), and Ursa (964).

Scholarship applications will only be accepted online on Kaleidoscope and are due Friday, February 14, 2026.
