Golden, IL— Adams Telephone Co-Operative sponsored a college scholarship program to award a $500 scholarship to a local high school senior.
The winner of this year’s scholarship is Kayden Elizabeth Miller of Unity High School. Her future plans include attending SIU-Edwardsville, majoring in Pre-Dental. Kayden is the daughter of Cory and Candy Miller.
“Adams Telephone Co-Operative historically has been very involved with our youth and schools from ensuring access to the technology needed today to providing opportunities such as our Scholarship and Youth to Washington programs,” comments Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer of Adams. “Our commitment to our communities begins with our young people.”
Information about Adams Telephone Co-Operative’s annual scholarship for 2017 will be released late in the fall. Through Adams’ partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service, applicants have the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship of $500 or $2,500.
