Golden, IL — Adams Telephone Co-Operative sponsored a college scholarship program to award a $500 scholarship to a local high school senior. The winner of this year’s scholarship is Delaney Lantz of Southeastern High School.
“Adams Telephone Co-Operative continues a tradition of involvement with our youth and schools by ensuring access to the technology needed today and offering opportunities such as our Scholarship and Youth to Washington programs to prepare local young people for tomorrow,” stated Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer of Adams. “We are committed to our communities and make every effort to offer as many resources and avenues as possible to further the success of young people in our area.”
Adams has given out a total of $17,500 in scholarships to local high school seniors.
Information about the Adams Telephone Co-Operative’s annual scholarship for 2020 will be released late in the fall. Through Adams’ partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service, applicants have the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship of $500 or $2,500.
