Adams Telephone Co-Operative sponsored a college scholarship program to award two $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors. The winners of this year’s scholarships are Austin Cornwell and Gabriel Maynard, both of Unity High School.
“Adams Telephone Co-Operative continues a tradition of involvement with our youth and schools by ensuring access to the technology needed in today’s challenging times and by offering opportunities such as our Scholarship programs to prepare local young people for tomorrow,” stated Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer of Adams. “We are committed to making every effort to offer as many resources and avenues as possible to further the success of young people in the communities we serve.”
Adams has given out a total of $19,500 in scholarships to local high school seniors.
Information about the Adams Telephone Co-Operative’s annual scholarship for 2021 will be released late in the fall. Through Adams’ partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service, applicants have the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship of $1,000 or $2,500.
