Adams Fiber is proud to announce that Augusta, Illinois, has officially been designated as a Smart Rural Community (SRC) by NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association. This recognition highlights Augusta’s commitment to leveraging high-speed broadband to support education, health care, economic growth, and overall quality of life.

The Smart Rural Community program promotes rural broadband providers who are building robust, fiber-powered networks and using them to create vibrant, connected communities. With this recognition, Augusta joins a growing list of towns served by Adams Fiber that are working together to ensure residents have access to reliable connectivity and the opportunities it provides.

Adams has invested over $1.23 million in fiber infrastructure in Augusta, ensuring that residents and businesses have access to world-class broadband services.
