Golden, IL— Adams Telephone Co-Operative sponsored a college scholarship program to award two $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors. The winners of this year’s scholarships are Audrey Kaufman and Greta Shaffer, both of Unity High School.
“The success of area youth is of the utmost importance to Adams Telephone Co-Operative. It’s the primary reason we continue a tradition of involvement with local schools by ensuring access to the technology needed in today’s challenging times and by offering opportunities such as our Scholarship programs to prepare our community’s young people for tomorrow,” stated Jim Broemmer, Chief Executive Officer of Adams.
Adams has given out a total of $21,500 in scholarships to local high school seniors.
Information about the Adams Telephone Co-Operative’s annual scholarship for 2022 will be released late in the fall. Through Adams’ partnership with the Foundation for Rural Service, applicants have the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship of $1,000 or $2,500.
